Puppies are a big responsibility. We only place puppies with life-long and loving families.
There is a lot of research that you should do before you decide to add a puppy to your home. Puppies are a big responsibility physically, emotionally, and financially. Each breed of dog has its own distinct characteristics and you should research the breed you are interested in to make sure that it will fit well with your lifestyle. White Shepherds are very intelligent dogs who enjoy being active and love having a job to do. They are not sedentary and they require excercise. They need obedience training and they are protective of their family. They are very good with children and you should be prepared to take care of your puppy for atleast 12 to 15 years.
Raising a puppy is comparable to raising a baby. There are sleepless nights, accidents, and lots of work. However, if you have patience and do what is best for your puppy (training, proper healthcare etc), you will have a dedicated companion who will cherish and love you for years to come. Marchand Kennels has a limited number of puppies per year. The demand for our puppies is much higher then we can meet. We have strong morals and standards when it comes to raising our puppies and we do not believe in kennels or cages. Our dogs are our family members.
We choose our puppy owners very carefully and we do not have a problem telling people that we would prefer not to sell them a puppy. We are looking for loving-responsible forever families who will cherish and adore our puppies as much as we do. We have a contract that must be signed before we will place a puppy in a home, and it states that our puppies will never be taken to a shelter or animal control. We put our heart and soul into our puppies and we are looking for owners who will do the same.
As a responsible breeder we provide the best of healthcare, nutrition and love. With each litter we spend hours upon hours cleaning, loving and socializing our puppies and their surroundings. We buy toys, feed the best food, cut nails, give baths, temperment test, sit by our Dam's side as she is in labor and sleep by the side of the whelping box for atleast 48 hours after the babies are born. We keep our newborn puppies in our family room for 4 weeks where it is warm with a wood stove and a central location in our home (always within hearing distance). After 4 weeks of age our puppies are moved into our temperature controlled puppy room where they can romp, play and have fun with all of the fun toys and stimulating items we furnish them with. In nice weather we go outside several times a day, in real warm weather we even set up a kiddie pool.
We handle, love, and snuggle with our puppies several times a day. We do this because we want to produce the best possible puppy for the family that will be providing it the best possible life.
Important News: Please do not buy a puppy from a Pet Store! You can make a difference and stop the operation of puppy mills. We are against them 100% and we highly encourage everyone to research where their puppies originate from. Please read the information I am including below. If you cannot afford one of our puppies, or we cannot offer you a puppy at the time you may be looking, please..please..please make a responsible decision when you choose your pet and avoid puppy mills at all cost! If we do not have puppies available when you are looking for one, I would be happy to refer you to a breeder who I know and trust.
